The biogas production is up and running
The final details are falling into place at the biogas plant in Dafeng, China. New signs have been put up in the fine meeting room – side by side with the facility’s own logo and Combigas’ well-known logo on the tanks, as visible proof of the collaboration. Inside the area.
Combigas’ people help adjust and refine the system so that everything runs as planned. Soon, the staff would be at the buttons themselves, but first there is training where experience and knowledge must be passed on. It is the beginning of a new everyday life in Dafeng – with energy from “waste” and joint efforts as the driving force.
New collagues
Brian Karsbæk
We are very pleased to welcome Brian Karsbæk who have started at Combigas on the 16 March 2026.
Brian has joined as project manager and will be an important part of our everyday life and will work with project tasks across the organization – both in Denmark and internationally – and at the same time contribute to making our processes even better.
With experience from LM Wind Power and most recently as a Construction Engineer at Mouritsen A/S, Brian brings with him strong competencies and a valuable perspective, which we look forward to bringing into play. We look forward to working together – and not least to getting to know you better.
René Foss
We are very pleased to welcome René Foss, who have started at Combigas on the 1 April 2026.
René will have an independent role with responsibility for the preparation of the company’s documentation as well as the construction and structure of our documentation base. In addition, he will be involved in relevant project assignments across the organization – both in Denmark and internationally.
René comes with a broad and solid experience in technical documentation, most recently from Jørgensen Engineering, which will be a great strength in his work with us. We look forward to the collaboration and to bringing René’s skills into play in the organization.
Combigas biogas visit
On Tuesday 28 April, Combigas employees were on a company visit to a GreenFarm air conditioning and energy plant built at Tinghøjgård in Arden, North Jutland. On the day, the director, project managers and draftsmen from Combigas participated, who all got an insight into the structure and function of the plant.
During the visit, GreenFarm’s CEO, Frank Wennerberg, talked about the concept behind the GreenFarm facilities, including the technical solutions, the operation and the experiences gained in connection with the establishment. This provided valuable insight into both opportunities and challenges in the field.
After the visit to Arden, the trip continued to Hobro, where we enjoyed a joint lunch and the opportunity for an informal dialogue. The day ended with a visit to Research Centre Foulum, where further focus was placed on research and development in energy and agriculture. The visit provided inspiration and new knowledge that can be passed on in the daily work.
